We partner directly with ranchers and private forestland owners; major conservation funding agencies; and local and non-profit organizations, including land trusts. We also have a long history of convening and working with diverse groups of stakeholders and partners to achieve conservation goals.
We have broad experience in all aspects of conservation easements including advocacy, fundraising, project management, and closing deals. We have also negotiated carbon contracts on behalf of private landowners and provided due diligence and advice for strategic land purchases or other landowner pursuits.
We have helped to raise tens of millions of dollars for conservation and restoration projects across the North Coast, including administering and managing dozens of grants and grant-funded projects through federal, state, local and private agencies and foundations. We have managed all aspects of grant proposal development, coordination, management and administration.
We help develop forest health, fire resilience, and oak woodlands restoration projects, focusing on public/private partnerships that advance landowner goals and public benefit values. The planning process often includes creating compelling project concepts, good project designs, strategic partnerships, and high-quality funding proposals. Once a project is funded, we can support implementation through project coordination and grant management services.
Lindsay can provide ArcGIS analysis and mapping services. We also have extensive experience authoring a variety of organizational development, landscape planning, technical, and legal documents. We have partnered with numerous agencies, foundations and other partners on landscape-scale conservation planning projects and have led a variety of multi-stakeholder efforts as part of local and regional planning efforts.
